The story bends and turns, and in some cases doubles back, with exciting unpredictability. I learned to love the characters and felt their excitement, fear, and loss. Each personality is as vivid and interesting as the next and I am happy to learn that Brinks has planed other books featuring my new found friends. It is so hard to explain how much I liked this book without revealing one of the many twist. I can only say that if you like excitement, beautiful detail, and characters you want to know better - you want to add "Murder on the Whiskey George" to your reading list.Product details

i read one review that compared it to Lee Child and Jack Reacher. Not even close. Not a bad read. But don't get it if you are searching for a Reacher like fix. Its ok as a book to get you through until the next really good one comes along
Surprisingly good! Great writing, loved the characters, and loved the familiar setting.
JJ Brinks has the start to a great series with his book "Murder on the Whiskey George." His characters are engaging, his plot interesting and suspenseful with enough twists and turns to keep us turning pages. I look forward to reading future additions to this series.
Very good story. Believable characters, good plot, tense and exiting. The story begins with a "bang", and continues at a good pace until the end.
I had never heard of JJ.Brown's he came up in a list on my kindle, I liked the book preview and bought it. I am so glad I did this was a really by read. I read it in one sitting,couldn't put it down. I am ordering the rest of his books.
This book I highly recommend as the characters are well established, the plot is well done and it was just a great read. I am now working on the second book in this series (Murder in Big Hope) and enjoying it just as much. I am looking forward to the third one hopefully due out soon.
I bought this book by an unknown author (to me anyway) and found it delightfully entertaining and very well written. It was a good story with a surprise or two that kept my interest throughout. I recommend reading Murder on the Whisky George and look forward to reading others by JJ Brinks. My only complaint is this What is the "Whiskey George"?
